Low fare carrier SpiceJet does not have any issues related to funding aircraft acquisition, says its CEO Neil Mills who was in Mumbai to attend the CAPA aviation summit 2012.
The airline has plans to extend its fleet to 70 aircraft, a mix of 45 Boeing and 25 Q400 planes, by the end of 2013.
Mills pointed out challenges pertaining to high aviation fuel cost and airport charges which are denting industry's bottom-line. He however said that load factors will increase ahead of the festive season.
William Franke, co founder and managing partner at Indigo Partners LLC added that Indian needs to address infra issues, only then it can attract foreign direct investment.
