Tecpro bags orders worth Rs 510 crore

Amul Gabrani, VC & joint MD, Tecpro Systems tells CNBC-TV18 that the company has bagged orders for projects worth Rs 510 crore in India and its Singapore subsidiary won an order to build a coal and ash-handling plant for Hyundai Rotem in Vietnam. The company expects that a major part of its revenues from projects spread over 17 months will be booked in this fiscal.

Below is an edited transcript of the interview on CNBC-TV18. Also watch the accompanying video.  Q: What are the recent orders the company has won?
A: In the financial year beginning April, the company booked orders worth about Rs 510 crore from India which includes orders worth Rs 142 crore from NTPC, orders worth Rs 84 crore from Kanti Bijlee, a NTPC subsidiary and a few more orders worth approximately Rs 260 crore. Recently, our 100%-owned subsidiary Tecpro Systems Singapore bagged an order worth Rs 183 crore from Hyundai Rotem for a project to buld in Vietnam for coal and ash-handling plant. Q: So what is the revenue forecast for FY13?
A: We expect a major part of the expected 65% of revenue from projects spread over 17 months, to be booked in FY13.
