Cinemax bets big on Don-2, to list exhibition biz on Apr 1

Cinemax India reported net profit of Rs 6.07 crore in Q2FY12 against Rs 2.5 crore year on year (Y-o-Y). Sunil Punjabi, chief executive officer, Cinemax India spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the financial performance of the company and the road ahead. 

Punjabi said that the second half of the year has always been slightly stronger. The flow of content for the second half of the year looks fairly positive. "Don-2 is looking much bigger and it is going to be in 3D this time. We have made investments in terms of digitising more screens and also making those 3D enabled," he added. Further, Cinemax is also looking list its exhibition business on April 1. Below is the edited transcript of Punjabi
