Edward Pretty named Chairman of Mahindra Satyam Aus, NZ ops

Software services provider Mahindra Satyam has appointed Edward 'Ted' Pretty as chairman of its Australia and New Zealand operations in a move towards expediting expansion in the two markets. He will also be supporting the company's Asian region for telecom business expansion, the Mahindra Group company said on Tuesday. "Ted will be driving the strategy for Mahindra Satyam and Tech Mahindra across network engineering and operations, business intelligence & analytics, cloud, mobility and security. Ted's experience will also facilitate expansion plans  in the region," Mahindra Satyam said. He is currently the Chairman of online and digital media adviser and investor CMB Capital and SiteTour, the cloud-based out-of-home advertising and data platform. Satyam shares were down about 1% at Rs 81.95 on NSE in morning trade.
