Three of India's Tata Group companies on Thursday named executives from within the group as their new managing directors, effective February 1.

Three of India's Tata Group companies on Thursday named executives from within the group as their new managing directors, effective February 1.


Utility Tata Power said Anil Sardana would take over from incumbent Prasad Menon, who retires at the end of this month. Sardana is currently the managing director of India's No. 4 mobile phone operator Tata Teleservices.
N. Srinath, managing director of Tata communications, will replace Sardana, the listed unit of the mobile carrier, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), said in a separate statement.
Vinod Kumar, a director at Tata Communications, has been named as its managing director and chief executive officer, the international telecoms services firm said in a statement.
