Etihad Airways signs outsourcing deal with Kale Consultants

United Arab Emirates' national carrier Etihad Airways has said that it will outsource the accounting of passenger and cargo revenues to Kale Consultants from April 2012. Kale Consultants offers softwares and services like data analytics, process outsourcing and technology solutions, especially to airlines and travel firms. It employs over 1,500 people and has more than 100 clients in the aviation industry in over 30 countries. French back office services provider Accelya had acquired 35.6% controlling stake from Kale Consultants' promoters in September 2010. Kale Consultants shares lifted over 18% post the deal announcement in afternoon trade. At 15:15 hrs, the stock was traded at Rs 111.60, up 15.8% on NSE.
