ICAI sends notices to RNRL, RInfra auditors on SEBI order

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has sent notices to auditors of RNRL and Reliance Infrastructure on market regulator SEBI's consent order.

Amarjit Chopra, President, ICAI said, "We have gone immediately the next day and issues notices to the auditors to find out their viewpoint. The consent order itself says and the parties have agreed that they will not allow auditors to be reappointed for a period of three years and they have themselves agreed that the classification of the nature with regard to the nature of the investment was wrong, the booking of loss and gains on account of that as incorrect. I don
