After a 3-5% growth witnessed in FY12, DM Reddy, CEO of Subros says the company is targeting a growth of between 10% and 15% for the next as the company expects its customers to see full-fledged production.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Reddy also shares that the company is expected to start production from its Chennai plant from the year 2013. "And, it will cater to our existing segments but for customers based out in South India," he added. Below is an edited transcript of DM Reddy's interview to CNBC-TV18. Also watch the accompanying video. Q: Can you take us through what you expect would be driving the growth of 10-15% next year? A: Currently, some of the customers have production stoppages which we expect next year onwards will be full-fledged. Also, the products that we are supplying to our customers are doing very well and we are also getting into a new business area for all the engine pulling modules. Hence, these reasons will drive the expected growth. Q: You have some capex plans lined up in Chennai, can you take us through when this will come on stream? A: We expect to start production from our Chennai plant from the year 2013. Q: What sort of demand is it catering to?
