SC refuses stay on charges against Balwa, Goenka in 2G case

The apex court clarified its position very clearly that in the past it has not allowed any relief by way of interim stays nor is it in any mood to do so as far as this particular case is concerned.

The Supreme court today stayed the framing of charges made by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the 2G scam. The charges will now be heard by the special 2G Court in June .

The apex court clarified its position very clearly that in the past it has not allowed any relief by way of interim stays nor is it in any mood to do so as far as this particular case is concerned.

It is now understood that the Supreme Court's refusal to grant any interim stay as far as this particular case is concerned goes back to the trial court where the enforcement directorate (ED) charge sheet will now be heard at length.
