Inside Bihar: Gaya shining bright

Poor rural electrification and an employment guarantee scheme full of holes are not the only problems rural India is facing. The population in these regions, which depends heavily on agriculture, has taken repeated hits from deficient monsoons.

However, as CNBC-TV18's Budget Caravan made its way through Bihar’s Gaya district, they found bright spots that can be an inspiration for other villages as well as policy makers.
