Hindu power struggle worsens; family spat goes public

The fight between the three brothers who control Kasturi and Sons that runs the leading publication The Hindu is a well-known fact. But today the story took an unprecedented turn, when two brothers N Ram, the editor-in-chief of The Hindu and N Ravi, the editor of the paper decided to take the spat public.


The bone of contention is the April 18 board meeting where it was decided that the family members will not play any editorial role and the position of the editor will be given to a professional. CNBC-TV18
