Vishal Retail has another go at retail business with V2

Who said opportunity does not knock twice? Take a look at what Ram Chandra Agarwal, founder of the cash-strapped Vishal Retail is up to! The retail arm of the ailing company was sold off to Shriram Group and TPG for Rs 700 million in March. However, RC Agarwal is up for the game, all over again. Tanvi Shukla of CNBC-TV18 reports that he has now launched a new retail venture called V2.


Eight to ten stores are in the pipeline and are expected to be launched in the coming few months. An initial investment of about Rs 15-20 crore has been made for the project.
