Bosch's Nano mania: Developing more variants for it

Nano has become the case study for auto component manufacturers like Bosch. The company is developing more variants for the Nano and also working on making the low cost car even more price sensitive, reports CNBC-TV18's Swati Khandelwal Jain.

Bosch is developing innovations specifically for the emerging economies of Asia and South America, where purchasing power and prices are considerably lower than in advanced economies. Experience gained in meeting the specific requirements of these markets offers new scope for cost reductions and one such example is the Tata Nano. Jeorg Lange, Bosch Engineering explained,
