N Ram might sell stake in The Hindu for a premium

N Ram, the editor-in-chief of The Hindu is likely to be looking for an exit from the newspaper, alleges Nirmala Lakshmanan, joint editor. Swati Narayana of CNBC-TV18 has a report.

The iconic family-run newspaper, The Hindu, has been in quite a turmoil over the past few months. Ever since brothers, N Ram and N Ravi, took their spate public, the brand has been embroiled in ambiguity over its future leadership.


Reports now run afresh with talks of a possible stake sale in the company to a third party.
In the course of the legal battle, Nirmala Lakshmanan, the joint editor of The Hindu, has alleged at the Madras High Court that N Ram is looking to exit from Kasturi & Sons by selling his share at a premium. Swathi Narayanan of CNBC-TV18 has a report.
