Pray guilty are booked; labour situation worrisome: Maruti

Maruti Suzuki chairman RC Bhargava told CNBC-TV18's Ronojoy Banerjee said that he was hoping for a swifter verdict in the case, which will bring 147 workers arrested for the carnage in 2012, to justice.


In fact, he said that the company had even asked the special public prosecutor for the matter KTS Tulsi to expediate the case. Bhargava also warned that the Manesar violence had made Japanese investors jittery. Also Read: Manesar violence: 1 year on, still unresolved
"We would certainly like a swifter verdict and have asked the SPC prosecutor to expediate the matter. Japan is very concerned about the labour situation in India and that impression is because of what happened in  Manesar, " Bhargava told CNBC-TV18.
