The Haryana government has appointed special prosecutor KTS Tulsi to probe the violence at Maruti's Manesar plant. CNBC-TV18's Ronojoy Banerjee spoke to Tulsi and he has come out very strongly against the workers.

Tulsi has made it very clear that what has happened last week, on Wednesday evening, is going to have a negative impact on the investment flow, not just in the state of Haryana but also in the country. He categorically stated that he is going to expedite the probe.
In the normal cases, the probe goes on for about 90 days but, Tulsi said that he is going to wrap it up faster. The special prosecutor is also going to take weekly updates from the special investigation team (SIT) on the status of the probe.
More significantly, Tulsi also said that he is going to ensure the guilty, who caused the death of Maruti's HR Manager at the Manesar plant is handed over capital punishment.
Tulsi said, "This incident is capable of making foreign investment much more difficult, if we are not able to punish the guilty. Competent investigation must be carried on and we must make sure that those who are responsible for the murder are awarded a death sentence."
Instead of relying on the internal probe conducted by Maruti Suzuki, Tulsi is likely to base his views on the investigation that will be conducted by SIT.
