Mah Satyam may approach govt to seek part of Raju's assets

Mahindra Satyam is likely to approach the government to seek a part of the prime accused in the Satyam Computers scam, R Raju's assets, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting sources in the knowledge of the development.

Mahindra Satyam has its hands full with settlement of litigations pending from Ramalinga Raju's times. But it seems to have had enough and may be reaching out to the govt seeking a part of Raju's assets, reports CNBC-TV18's Kritika Saxena quoting sources in the knowledge of the development.

There was a Upaid dispute upto around USD 17 million, a Class Action Law suits settled for around USD 114 million and now a tax claim of upto Rs 617 crore which is being disputed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. For this the company is likely to approach the government to seek stake claim on a part of the prime accused in the Satyam Computers scam, Raju
