Unilever PLC makes voluntary open offer to acquire 48.70cr shares of HUL

Unilever PLC along with Unilever N.V. is making a voluntary open offer to acquire 48,70,04,772 shares representing 22.52% of the total Voting Share Capital from the public shareholders of Hindustan Unilever.

HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited ("Manager" to the Open Offer) has informed BSE that, Unilever PLC (the "Acquirer") along with Unilever N.V. in its capacity as person acting in concert (the "PAC") is making a voluntary open offer to acquire 487,004,772 Shares representing 22.52% of the total Voting Share Capital from the public shareholders of Hindustan Unilever Limited (the "Target Company").HSBC Securities and Capital Markets (India) Private Limited has submitted to BSE the public announcement which is pursuant to and in compliance with, among others Regulation 6, Regulation 13(3) and Regulation 15(1) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011 (the "SEBI (SAST) Regulations. 2011").Source : BSE
