Kajol sure knows how to have fun. The Bollywood star, who has long been friends with Shah Rukh Khan, playfully teased his Met Gala look by sporting silver bling jewellery, mimicking his layered necklaces on the blue carpet.
The actress took to Instagram and shared photos in a similar black blazer, focusing solely on her statement metallic jewellery. The maximal pieces included chunky bangles and bracelets stacked together on her wrists, chunky silver hoops, ear cuffs, a silver nose ring, and finger rings in stackable styles.
In the album, Kajol also shared a picture of Shah Rukh Khan highlighting his bold and eclectic mix of jewellery pieces. She joked in the caption: “Hmm, spot the difference @iamsrk #allaboutthebling #greatminds.”
Shah Rukh did seem to enjoy his moment on the blue carpet at the Met Gala 2025 in his layered jewellery look. He stole the spotlight with his stack flowing down his chest, adding to his charming appearance along with his classic black sunglasses and Patek Philippe watch.
His star power was evident on the blue carpet as he walked confidently in his all-black dandy look by Sabyasachi, despite admitting he was totally “nervous” and “doing it for his kids.”
While he may have been completely humble, Sabyasachi praised the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ on Instagram, calling him “a magician, superstar, and icon.”
Sabyasachi wrote, “Shah Rukh Khan is one of the greatest superstars in the world. A cinematic hero, his blockbuster performances and leading-man charisma have created a legendary international fan following. My interpretation of the Black Dandy is a demonstration of his superstardom on a global stage. Dressed in classic menswear with the maximalist flourish of Sabyasachi, Shah Rukh Khan is a magician, superstar, and icon. Period.”
