Anarkalis are timeless pieces, they never really go out of style. They are versatile and perfect for everything from daytime gatherings to evening functions. Of late, several celebrities have been turning to this silhouette, including Nushrratt Bharuccha, who looked every bit royal in an Anarkali by Marwar Couture.
In the pictures Nushrratt shared, she looked radiant in a flowing beige silhouette detailed with red floral embroidery and an embellished border, giving the outfit a rich, old-school charm.
What made the look stand out was the traditional yoke design with embroidered shoulders and full sleeves, adding just the right touch of opulence. The fitted bodice flared into a voluminous skirt, classic to the Anarkali style.
It felt like a vintage affair — the hues, the structure, the embroidery — everything came together to make Nushrratt look elegant and striking. She skipped jewellery this time, letting the outfit do all the talking.
Her makeup was warm and flawless. Gold eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, and kajal highlighted her eyes beautifully, while her cheeks had a soft glow. A nude brown lipstick tied the look together.
Nushrratt’s hair was adorned with a rose, with a side lock sculpting her face beautifully. She captioned the photos, “Dramatic entrances with less noise, more nuance.”
Of late, several Bollywood actresses have sported distinct styles of Anarkali. Ananya Panday recently appeared at the Umrao Jaan re-release event in a classic white Anarkali, styled with traditional earrings and a rose-adorned bun.
Vaani Kapoor, too, made a statement at one of her promotional events in a divine Chanderi silk Anarkali featuring gold Aari embroidery and hand-block prints, completing the look with golden jewellery.
