Sharing pictures of the look, the designers wrote, “Glittering with more than five thousand mirrors, Bhumi’s ensemble in The Royals finale is a handcrafted work of art that is indulgent to the core. Featuring heavy zardozi embroidery and real mirrors, her red ghagra is paired with a dramatic blouse that is quintessential Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.”

Bhumi completed the look with matching jewellery—an elaborate choker, maang tikka, bracelets, and bangles. The accessories added to the dazzle, enhancing her regal presence in line with her character on the show.

It wasn’t just Bhumi who embraced the maximalist aesthetic the designer duo is known for—the rest of the main cast also donned lavish outfits in striking hues, accessorised with heritage pieces. In fact, the designers revealed in their caption that some ensembles were revived from their archives and date back three to four decades.
