WB SET Exam Date
The WB SET is conducted every year to determine eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor in colleges and universities across West Bengal. This year, the exam will be held on 14 December 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards using their registration number and date of birth.
The 2025 exam will be conducted for 33 subjects. The test consists of two papers:
- Paper 1: Checks general teaching and research aptitude. Duration: 1 hour
- Paper 2: Based on the chosen subject. Duration: 2 hours
Both papers will include objective-type multiple-choice questions.

Candidates must carry the following items along with their admit card for verification:
- A valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card)
- Voter ID
- Driving licence
- Passport-sized photograph
