The recruitment is segmented into two main categories:
General Branch (725 Posts): Positions are available in 15 subjects: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, Arts, Commerce, and Agricultural Science.
Women's Branch (83 Posts): Opportunities are open in 12 subjects: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, and Home Science.
Information for Previous Applicants
Secretary in-charge, Jaivardhan Sharma, clarified important rules for candidates who applied under the earlier advertisement (No. A-3/S-1/DR(L.I.C)/2024, dated October 18, 2024):
No Need to Re-apply: Candidates who applied earlier do not need to apply again. Their existing applications (except for the Arts subject) will be considered valid for this new advertisement. The fee paid will not be refunded.
Option for Fresh Application: If a previous applicant wishes to apply afresh, they can cancel their earlier application and submit a new one. In this case, the old fee will not be refunded, and a new application fee must be paid.
Post Removal Notice: The 2 posts of Lecturer-Arts (General Branch) from the October 2024 advertisement have been removed. All applications for those specific posts are canceled. Eligible candidates for Lecturer-Arts must apply under the current notification.
How to Apply for UKPSC Lecturer Vacancy 2025?
Follow these steps to ensure a successful online application:
Step 1. Go to the UKPSC portal: https://psc.uk.gov.in/
Step 2. On the homepage, locate and click on the link for "Uttarakhand Special Subordinate Education (Lecturer Cadre Group C) Service Examination 2025" or the "Latest Advertisement" section.
Step 3. Carefully download and read the official notification PDF. Verify your eligibility concerning educational qualification, age limit (Crucial date: July 1, 2025), and other criteria.
Step 4. Find and select the appropriate online application link for the lecturer recruitment.
Step 5. Click on 'Register' and provide basic details like name, mobile number, and email ID to generate a Registration ID and password.
Step 6. You may need to login with old credentials or register anew if canceling a prior application.
Step 7. Log in with your credentials and meticulously fill in all required details in the online form – personal information, educational qualifications, subject choice, etc.
Step 8. Proceed to pay the required application fee online using net banking, credit/debit card, or other available UPI methods. Fee once paid is non-refundable.
Step 9. Double-check all entered information and uploaded documents for accuracy. Finally, submit the application form.
Step 10. After successful submission, save a soft copy and take a printout of the final submitted application form for your future reference.
