A key change in this recruitment cycle is the revision of the 1.6 km running race standards. The race categories have been expanded from two to four groups, providing a broader qualification window and ensuring deserving candidates are not left out for technical and clerical posts.
The qualifying time has been extended, allowing candidates up to 6 minutes and 15 seconds to complete the race, a significant increase from the previous 5 minutes and 45 seconds. This change is designed to help select suitable candidates for roles like Technician, Clerk, and Store Keeper.
Detailed Breakdown of 1.6 km Race & Pull-Up Marks:
Group 1: Run 1.6 km in 5 min 30 sec (60 marks) & 10 Pull-ups (40 marks).
