Ever felt your heart suddenly flutter, race, or feel like it’s skipping a beat? That could be a heart rhythm problem, also called an arrhythmia. It means your heart isn’t beating in a regular pattern. While it’s not always serious, it’s important to pay attention and talk to a doctor if it keeps happening.

According to the National Health Service (NHS), heart rhythm problems happen when your heart beats too fast, too slow, or in an irregular way. These changes can cause different symptoms like a fluttering or pounding heart, dizziness, chest discomfort, tiredness, or shortness of breath.
