Bael fruit is scared fruit offered in temples. Also, according to Ayruveda, this fruit has various health benefits. If you have gut related issues or respiratory problems, the Bael fruit can come to aid. That’s not all: Even the bark, leaves and roots of Bael plant are packed with medicinal values.

Bael, known as Aegle marmelos, is a sweet-smelling fruit that grows on a sacred tree often found near temples in India. It has a hard outer shell and soft, fibrous pulp inside that’s rich in nutrients. In Ayurveda, it’s been used for centuries to treat everything from tummy troubles to respiratory issues.
