Many people swear by cardio exercises like swimming, cycling, walking, and running, among others, for more than one reason. They not only help in protecting your heart health but also with weight management. However, Cyrus Broacha, who is best known for shows like MTV Bakra and The Week That Wasn’t, said that it’s not for Indian men.
In a chat with Smita Prakash of ANI, Cyrus shared that cardio makes men look ugly and skinny. Instead, he highly recommended a mix of strength training and the right diet for the best results.

When Cyrus, who is quite enthusiastic about fitness, was asked if he was into cardio, he said, “No, no, I don't do it (cardio). You're saying bad words. Don't say cardio. I hate that word. Indian men don't do cardio. You'll just get uglier... they will never lose the belly (belly fat) because the blueprint is what it is. The hands will become skinny. The legs will become skinny... so they have to understand they have to lift weights and watch their diet. Cardio is of benefit only if you're really large... so (do) only strength training as we age for sure.”

He also admitted his love for training and humorously added that most trainers are in the business because they couldn’t get another job, just like him. When he was asked if he had undergone surgery like other Bollywood celebs, he dismissed it, saying, “I'm an old man.”
