Here are nine ways your brain signals that it’s time to take a break according to neurologist Dr Arvind Kumar Sharma, senior consultant at Bangalore’s RBG Global Healthcare.

Decreased focus: When you find yourself struggling to maintain attention on a task or becoming easily distracted, it’s a sign that your brain is overloaded. Extended periods of work or high mental demands can heighten emotional responses. A short break can help reduce stress levels, improve your mood, and restore emotional stability.
