Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who is well-known for her close friendship with Ranveer Singh, sent fans into a nostalgic tizzy with a heartfelt post on the actor's 40th birthday.
Zoya posted a previously undiscovered photo of the two on Instagram along with a heartfelt message referring to Ranveer as her "happy-maker friend."
“Happy Birthday My Happy-Maker Friend. More joy to you knowing how generously you share it @ranveersingh – Only,” Zoya wrote, making fans emotional and flooding the comments section with requests for sequels to Gully Boy and Dil Dhadakne Do.

As the clock struck 12:12 (a time the actor mysteriously teased on his Instagram Story with crossed swords), the makers of Ranveer’s much-anticipated film Dhurandhar dropped its explosive first teaser.
In the teaser, Ranveer appears as a long-haired, gritty, and melancholy character with a cigarette dangling from his lips. The promo showcases brutal fight sequences, a moody tone, and adrenaline-pumping background music, hinting at a blood-soaked thriller that diverges sharply from his past roles.
The film's strong ensemble cast, which included Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal, was also shown to fans.
A day prior to the teaser release, Ranveer deleted all of his Instagram posts, which heightened the suspense and led to a lot of online conjecture.
