Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, known for her candid insights into her decades-long career, recently engaged in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Reddit, where she shared some interesting thoughts with her fans. Known for her bold and honest takes on life, Zeenat answered several questions, offering a glimpse into her experiences in Bollywood.
When asked by a Reddit user if she had ever watched a recent Bollywood film and thought she could have nailed a particular role, Zeenat immediately mentioned Priyanka Chopra's portrayal of Kashibai in the 2015 film Bajirao Mastani.
Zeenat responded, “I don't know whether I would have nailed it, but I would have loved the chance to play Priyanka Chopra's character in Bajirao Mastani. It was a complex role that piqued my interest.”
Priyanka's performance in the film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was widely acclaimed, and she went on to receive several awards for her portrayal of Kashibai, the wife of Peshwa Bajirao, played by Ranveer Singh.
The veteran actor's reply sparked a wave of admiration from users on the platform, many of whom agreed that Zeenat would have certainly done justice to the role.

Another user inquired about the changes Zeenat has witnessed in the industry over the years, especially since the 1970s. In response, she reflected on the positive changes she has observed.
“I know people like to criticise the Hindi film industry, and much of it is valid. But I think a major and positive improvement I see is that there are women at every rung of the process pulling their weight and claiming their place with competence. In my time, it wasn't unusual to be the only woman on set! So this is a striking difference to me.”

On the work front, Zeenat Aman is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series The Royals and the film Bun Tikki, which will further showcase her versatility and acting prowess.
