Zahrah S Khan, renowned for her captivating vocals, magnetic on-screen presence and passionate advocacy for animal rights, has recently brought attention to a devastating situation unfolding in Namibia. Known for her unwavering commitment to veganism and ethical animal treatment, Zahrah has consistently used her voice to advocate for the protection of vulnerable creatures.

She took to her social media to highlight the devastating situation in Namibia, where authorities planned to cull over 700 wild animals, including 83 elephants, 30 hippos, 300 zebras, 100 blue wildebeests, 50 impalas and 100 eland antelops to provide meat for local communities amid the worst drought in a century. Zahrah S Khan voiced her concern and wrote – “@vantara Please save them if you can. This cruelty is beyond imagination!”

Vantara, an esteemed animal rescue, conservation, and rehabilitation center in Gujarat, led by Anant Ambani, has recognised Zahrah S Khan’s efforts by acknowledging her commitment towards protecting the lives of the animals. They replied stating, “Thank you for reaching out to us. Our team is actively working with Namibian officials to find an immediate solution to prevent these tragic losses. We remain committed to our core value of saving as many lives as possible. We appreciate your continued advocacy for these vulnerable creatures.”
