Actor Hina Khan, who recently revealed that her chemotherapy and surgery is over for stage 3 breast cancer, has tied the knot with her longtime partner Rocky Jaiswal in a private ceremony held at her residence in Mumbai on Wednesday, 4 June.
The couple’s wedding photographs—featuring the newlyweds as “Mr and Mrs”—have taken social media by storm, touching hearts across the internet.
But who is Rocky Jaiswal, the man Hina has referred to as her rock through her most challenging days?
In the Indian film and television industries, Rocky is a well-known name. He has contributed behind the scenes to a number of popular television programs, most famously serving as the Supervising Producer of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in which he met his now wife, Hina Khan for the first ever.
For the unversed, Hina played the character of Akshara in the popular television series.
His resume also includes positions as executive producer and assistant director on television programs like Sasural Simar Ka and Mitwa-Phool Kamal Ke. In addition to television, Rocky started the RockaByte App, a project to find new entertainment talent.
Speaking about her partner on Curly Tales, Hina became emotional while expressing her gratitude for Rocky’s unwavering support. “In this journey, if you have a mature and understanding partner by your side, there’s nothing like it. The journey becomes more sweeter,” she said. “When I take his name, I don't have words to explain what that man has done for me... I get overwhelmed; I choke up when I talk about him. Every woman deserves a man like him.”
Their love story spans over 12 years, having met on the sets of Hina’s first television show. “We bond over food and travel, and there is so much love between us,” Hina shared. “I always tell him, 'I can’t love you the way you love me.' But he never takes pride in it; he doesn’t even realise it.”
Hina selected a sophisticated opal green handloom saree from the Manish Malhotra Vows collection for her wedding day. A blush-pink zardozi border, gold and silver threads, and—most moving of all—the couple's names embroidered into the fabric represented the intensely intimate nature of their union.

Hina recently posted a heartfelt note online, honouring Rocky’s love and care: “To the man who looks after my soul... who only knows how to hold on. We have been with each other through so much...”
