Akhil Akkineni, born on April 8, 1994, in San Jose, California, USA, is the younger son of iconic Indian actors Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni. He comes from the prestigious Akkineni family, known for their immense contribution to Telugu cinema. Akhil has Telugu ancestry from his father’s side and Irish-Bengali roots from his mother’s side. His grandfather, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, was a legendary actor, and his half-brother, Naga Chaitanya, is a renowned actor in the Telugu film industry.

Though born in the United States, Akhil was raised in Hyderabad, India, where he completed his schooling at Chaitanya Vidyalaya and Oakridge International School. He also spent two years in Australia before returning to India to pursue his studies.
