Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film Train has generated excitement with the release of its teaser on January 16, 2025, coinciding with the actor's 46th birthday. The teaser was launched as a special gift for Vijay Sethupathi, directed by Mysskin, who shared it on social media along with a new poster of the actor from the film.
Mysskin also posted a heartfelt birthday message, referring to the actor as "Kanamma."
The 60-second teaser offers a sneak peek into the film, featuring behind-the-scenes moments of Vijay Sethupathi on the sets and in the dubbing studio. It captures his intense performances, supported by a gripping musical score. The teaser doesn’t give away much about the plot but creates curiosity with its dramatic tone and mysterious atmosphere.
Directed by Mysskin, known for his visually captivating films with intense sequences, Train is expected to offer suspense and drama, with a significant portion of the story set around trains. Vijay Sethupathi’s character is described as layered, suggesting a complex role that will keep the audience intrigued.
The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Nasser, Narain, and Dimple Hayati, among others. The technical team includes cinematographer Fowzia Fathima and editor Sri Watson.
Mysskin is also composing the music, adding his unique touch to the film. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations, Train marks the second collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and Mysskin, following their successful work on Pisasu.
While Train is nearing completion, the release date has yet to be confirmed. After a successful 2024 with Maharaja and Viduthalai Part 2, Vijay Sethupathi is also looking forward to the release of Gandhi Talks. Fans are eagerly awaiting more details about this intriguing project.
