Fans are already ready with anticipation as Shark Tank India prepares to return for its fifth season.
While familiar faces like Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal will be back, the big news is the addition of a brand-new investor to the panel: Mohit Yadav, co-founder of the popular skincare brand Minimalist.
If you're wondering who Mohit Yadav is, you're not alone.
Many fans are eager to learn more about the entrepreneur who built one of India’s most successful D2C (direct-to-consumer) brands—and who’s now stepping into the spotlight as the latest Shark.
A Gold Medalist Chartered Accountant with an All India Rank of 26, Mohit had a solid foundation in finance long before skincare became his calling.
He began his career at Deloitte and Credit Suisse, where he acquired more than 15 years of experience in consumer brands, technology, and finance.

His true breakthrough, however, came when he co-founded Minimalist, a skincare company that has amassed a devoted following because of its clear, uncluttered, and scientifically supported philosophy.
The business rapidly expanded under Mohit's direction, generating ₹184 crore in 2023 and aiming for Rs 350 crore in 2024.
However, what really made headlines was when Hindustan Unilever (HUL) paid an astounding ₹2,955 crore to acquire it, making it one of India's biggest direct-to-consumer purchases.
While Mohit’s exact net worth isn’t publicly known, it's safe to say he's done incredibly well—not just through Minimalist, but also as an investor. One of his biggest investments includes ₹148.6 crore in the men’s wellness brand Bold Care.
With Mohit joining the panel, fans are looking forward to new perspectives, sharper debates, and perhaps a different kind of business wisdom.
So far, across four seasons, the show has seen 741 pitches, 351 deals, and over ₹293 crore in committed investments.
