Bigg Boss 19 took a seriously intense turn this weekend, and Salman Khan wasn’t in the mood to hold back. Kicking off the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode, the superstar host set the tone with a cheeky yet pointed remark — saying that this weekend, the house didn’t need him, but a psychiatrist. The situation only became more chaotic after that.
Salman began by criticising Mridul for being too submissive and quiet around the house. While acknowledging Mridul's simplicity, he made it clear that playing it safe doesn't get you anywhere in the high-stakes chaos of Bigg Boss.
Salman softened when Mridul became emotional, complimenting his sincerity but urging him to be more proactive.
The focus then turned to Tanya and Nehal, whose relationship has been the talk of the house. Salman grilled them about their equation, asking why they seemed obsessed with each other. He allowed them to have an honest conversation, even teasing Tanya for being more visible now.
He also gently told her to stop crying and avoid falling into the “victim” role.
But things really heated up when Salman addressed the tension between Abhishek Bajaj and Amaal Mallik.
He asked Abhishek directly why he had provoked Amaal, particularly when the latter was ill. Salman wasn't holding back when he pointed out that Abhishek purposefully sat on Amaal's bed, made noise with utensils, and attempted to elicit a response from him. Everyone in the house agreed that Abhishek had gone too far.
Salman also clarified the contentious "sursuri" remark, stating that Kunickaa misinterpreted Amaal's remarks and believed he had insulted Ashnoor when in fact he had not. Salman was quick to criticise Kunickaa for stoking the unneeded argument that resulted from this.
Additionally, he chastised Ashnoor for her exaggerated response to something that wasn't even meant for her.
One of the episode's most poignant scenes then ensued. Salman remained steadfast in his support of Amaal, particularly after his family and mental health problems were brought up in arguments. Salman made it apparent that no one had the right to use personal suffering as a weapon after Amaal broke down. When Kunickaa denied her comments on national television, he even accused her of lying.
As the episode wound down, tensions still ran high. Kunickaa refused to apologise, Tanya confided in Ashnoor and Abhishek that they’d been manipulated, and Salman signed off with a promise: something wild is coming next.
