In an exciting announcement for rock fans nationwide, EVA Live, India's premier event organizer, proudly brings the iconic alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins to India for their first-ever performance in the country.
For the first time ever, the iconic and boundary-pushing band The Smashing Pumpkins will perform in India as part of their ‘Rock Invasion 2025’ Asia Tour. Fans can catch them live at Transform Arena in Bangalore on October 11, 2025, followed by Jio World Garden in Mumbai on October 12, 2025.
The iconic band is set to make their highly anticipated debut in India with an electrifying performance spanning their three-decade career. Fans can expect beloved classics like Tonight, Tonight, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, Today, and *1979*, along with mesmerizing tracks from their groundbreaking albums, including ATUM and the fan-favorite Aghori Mhori Mei. The setlist will also feature their latest hits, such as Sighommi and Beguiled. Known for their signature sound—powerful guitar riffs, poetic lyrics, and explosive energy—the band promises to captivate both die-hard fans and newcomers alike.
The Powerhouse Tour will begin in Japan in September 2025, while taking stops in Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Busan, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Singapore, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi. This two-month tour is historic marking the band's first Asia tour in over a decade (12 years for Japan, 15 for South Korea, nearly 30 for Thailand) and their debut in the Middle East and India, making Rock Invasion 2025 a milestone for fans.

Rock Invasion 2025 will be the band's first major Asian tour in more than ten years, giving fans a unique opportunity to witness their high-energy live show in person.
Registrations are now open on the District App. The pre-sale tickets will be available in two phases, exclusively for Mastercard holders. The first phase runs from Tuesday, 5th August 2025, at 12 PM IST to Thursday, 7th August 2025, at 12 PM IST on www.priceless.com/music?country=in. The second phase begins on Thursday, 7th August at 12 PM IST and continues until Tuesday, 12th August at 12 PM IST, accessible only on the District App.
After the pre-sale, general ticket sales will commence on 12th August 2025 at 4:30 PM IST. Mastercard users can enjoy special perks, including event tickets, city experiences, and unique artist interactions. All tickets will be sold exclusively through District by Zomato.
The Smashing Pumpkins, formed in Chicago in 1988, are one of alternative rock’s most influential bands, selling over 30 million albums and winning multiple awards. Known for classics like Siamese Dream (1993) and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (1995), their music and iconic imagery have left a lasting mark. After reuniting original members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha, they released Shiny and Oh So Bright (2018), CYR (2020), and ATUM (2023). Their 2024 album, Aghori Mhori Mei, revisits their 90s guitar-driven sound.
