The second season of Taaza Khabar, directed by Himank Gaur, is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 27. This popular web series, starring social media star Bhuvan Bam, blends elements of drama, fantasy, and dark comedy.
Based in Mumbai, the show explores the themes of class-based poverty and the human desire for a better life through the lens of Vasant Gawde, a sanitation worker played by Bhuvan Bam.

In the upcoming season, Vasya, who gained the ability to see the future through his smartphone, embarks on a new adventure as his destiny takes an unexpected turn.
"Fate plays its role as it alters the course of Vasya’s life and he is left to dabble with his secret power, destroying his relationships with his loved ones, and leaving his life at stake," read the official synopsis.

In a heartfelt statement, Bam shared that "Taaza Khabar" is more than just a series; it reflects the journey of his own life. Playing the character of Vasya came naturally to him, as he found many similarities between himself and the ambitious sanitation worker. Vasya's determination to achieve his dreams and provide for his family resonated deeply with Bam.
