After 20 long years, popular Tamil actors Suriya and Trisha Krishnan are coming together once again on screen. Their reunion will be in RJ Balaji’s upcoming film, which has officially been titled Karuppu. This movie was earlier referred to as Suriya 45, and the announcement was made on the occasion of RJ Balaji’s birthday.
The film’s production house, Dream Warrior Pictures, revealed the new title and first look poster on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Along with the poster, they shared a heartfelt message: “With pride and excitement, we present the title of #Suriya45: Karuppu. A name that embodies the soul of our story, shaped by heart, spirit, and purpose. Wishing a very Happy Birthday to our director @RJ_Balaji.”
