Shreya Ghoshal's heartfelt homage to the Indian Armed Forces brought the audience to tears during her All Hearts Tour performance in Mumbai. She took a moment during the famous Maa Tujhe Salaam to give a moving speech in which she honoured the bravery and sacrifice of the country's soldiers.

During her concert, she said, “Every second that we are standing here, we are not even having a single worry in our mind because there is somebody protecting us at the border,” she said, addressing a packed audience. “Any place you ever see an army man, navy or air force officer, we should touch their feet. This song is my way of touching their feet — a Charan Sparsh.”

Shreya Ghoshal’s tribute was especially poignant in the wake of the Indian Armed Forces’ recent heroic acts, including the bold and strategic Operation Sindoor and their swift response to a recent attack attempt from Pakistan.

She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the forces for their unwavering courage and for safeguarding the nation and its people.

Urging for unity through music, she added, “I would like that all our bands also be united in this. If everyone sings this together, then I think it will be a very beautiful feeling. I feel this is how we should remember this moment.”
