In the video, Shefali was asked if she ever gets tired of the nickname. To which she smiled and responded, āNever. There can only be one 'Kaanta Laga girl' in the whole world, and that is me.ā
The actress admitted that she loved the title and would like to be remembered as the Kaanta Laga girl till her death. She added, āI love it. And I want to be known as the 'Kaanta Laga girl' till the day I die.ā However, the interview was just 10 months ago.
However, Shefali definitely left a legacy, and her wish came true as she continues to be fondly remembered by that iconic title, even after her passing.
The exact reason for Shefaliās death is currently unknown. However, the initial reports suggested that she suffered a cardiac arrest. Shefaliās close friends and family spotted her arriving at Bellevue Hospital.
