Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda accidentally injured himself by shooting his leg with his revolver early in the morning and was immediately taken to the hospital. He later reassured everyone that he is out of danger. Shatrughan Sinha visited him at the hospital, along with David Dhawan, and provided the media with an update on Govinda's condition.
In a video shared by a paparazzo, Shatrughan Sinha was seen visiting his longtime friend Govinda after the accident. He spoke with the media, providing updates on Govinda's health and reassuring everyone about his recovery following the incident.
In the video clip he said, "Badhiya hain. Ache hain. Swasthya acha hai. Anesthesia ka asar khatam ho raha hai. Bohot achese baat cheet kar parahe hain. Ittafaq tha, ek accident tha. Accident ka koi explanation nhi hota ki kaise hua kyu hua...abhi ekdum thik hai, achese sab se milrahe hain, purane baatein bolke hume hasaa rahe hain. 1-2 dino mein sakushal ghar chale jayenge. (He is fine, he is good. The Anesthesia's effect has worn off and he is able to talk nicely. There is no explanation for an accident; how it happened and why it happened. Currently, he is fine. He is meeting with everyone and making everyone laugh. He will be able to go home safely in 1-2 days)."
Director and old friend, David Dhawan was also spotted at the hostipal, paying a visit to Govinda.
Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg early this morning with his licensed revolver and was rushed to Criticare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, around 5:15 AM. According to the Mumbai Police, the incident occurred around 4:45 AM as Govinda was getting ready to leave his home for the airport. While placing his revolver in the cupboard, he accidentally pulled the trigger, resulting in a bullet striking his knee.

Later, in an audio message, the actor reassured everyone that he is safe and on the road to recovery. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to his well-wishers for their support and praised the medical staff for their care following the removal of the bullet.
The police have arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and have taken possession of Govinda's revolver. The incident is now under active investigation.
