Shah Rukh Khan is set to lock his film lineup by the end of the year, and while fans eagerly await his next releases, there are reports that the Bollywood superstar is in talks with Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik and Maddock Films head Dinesh Vijan.
According to sources, the trio is discussing an exciting new adventure film that could mark the beginning of a fresh franchise.
After a blockbuster year in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan's fans were disappointed that none of his films are slated for release in 2024. However, the actor seems to be planning multiple surprises for his loyal fanbase, including several innovative and high-profile projects.
While King and Pathaan 2 are already confirmed and their shooting schedules are in place, SRK is reportedly exploring a wide range of scripts, seeking unique stories that push the boundaries of commercial cinema.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh has been in discussions with Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan about an upcoming adventure film. A source close to the project revealed that the Stree 2 team has held a few meetings with the actor, and discussions are progressing.

"Shah Rukh Khan has met almost every prominent filmmaker in the last few months and listened to their ideas. However, nothing had really excited him until now. He is now seriously considering the project with Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan," the source stated.
The report further adds that the adventure film is being designed as the first installment of a new franchise, much like the Maddock Supernatural Universe, which has seen great success with films like Stree and Bhediya. Shah Rukh is expected to have more meetings with the filmmakers to finalize details.
Additionally, SRK is reportedly in talks with directors Raj and DK for a comic action thriller and is also considering some action films from South Indian filmmakers. While nothing has been locked yet, the superstar aims to confirm his complete film slate by the end of the year.
With King and Pathaan 2 already on the horizon, Shah Rukh Khan’s potential collaboration with Amar Kaushik promises to be an exciting new venture for the actor.
