Veteran actress Shabana Azmi celebrated her 75th birthday with a star-studded bash attended by some of the prominent figures from the industry. Several A-list guests shared photos and videos from Shabana Azmi’s birthday party, attended by Ila Arun, Madhuri Dixit, Vidya Balan, Urmila Matondkar, Farah Khan, Manish Malhotra, Sanjay Kapoor, and others.
Ila Arun took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos and videos from the event. She penned in the caption, “Have Glimpses of Shabana’s great 75Th. Organized by Bony Kapur, Great Fun.”
The post started with a picture of a huge flower-decked birthday cake in the shape of 75, with the text written underneath, “Still stealing the show.”
She also included a video of Sonu Nigam singing for Shabana Azmi. Meanwhile, the highlight from the post was Farhan Akhtar dancing with his mom, Shabana Azmi, on his popular song, Senorita, from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
Farhan also penned a sweet birthday note for his mom. He penned, “Happy belated birthday Shabana.. have the best year yet.. filled with deep meaningful conversation and frivolous antakshari’s, work travel and girl trips, ambition and abandon .. but please please in this landmark year… say NO to cucumber sandwiches..!! Love you.”

In another video, shared on Manish Malhotra’s social media account, Rekha, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Urmila Matondkar, and the birthday girl herself, Shabana Azmi, were seen dancing to the Parineeta song "Kaisi Paheli."
For the unversed, Shabana Azmi is a well-known actress. Over the course of her 50-year career, she has worked on both commercial and parallel films. She recently starred in movies such as Ghoomer, What's Love Got to Do with It, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
