The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has called for a ban on Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency in Punjab. On January 16, SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami wrote to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, urging him to prevent the film's release, citing concerns over its portrayal of Sikhs.
