Selena Gomez wraps up Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 shoot

Selena Gomez is returning for her highly anticipated Wizards of Waverly Place reboot, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2, with David Henrie. The cast has wrapped up the shoot of the new season.

David took to his Instagram and shared an update on the shoot. He shared a series of behind-the-scenes pictures from the set while announcing the wrap-up.

He also reflected on his experience of working with the cast and penned in the caption, “So grateful for this incredible cast and crew. Every long day, every late night, every laugh — it all adds up to something special.”
David added, “What a blessing to build this with people who bring their full hearts to the work. Here’s to the stories we’ve told — and the ones still to come.” He concluded his caption while teasing that fans can anticipate season 2 soon, adding, “#SeasonTwoWrapped #Gratitude #OnSetFamily #WizardsBeyond #ComingSoon.”

He started the slide show of the pictures with a photo of himself sitting with his on-screen sister Selena, while having a fun conversation. He also shared a group photo featuring the series’ whole cast and crew in the frame.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 kicked off production in April 2025 and wrapped up in July 2025. While the makers have yet to announce the release date, there have been speculations that the new season will premiere this Fall. The second season will feature 10 episodes.
