Salman Khan recalls his biking experience with father Salim Khan: "We got this bike from Hyderabad..."

Salman Khan continues to reign as one of India’s most beloved superstars, admired not only for his larger-than-life on-screen persona but also for his deep-rooted love for family. Despite his packed schedule and action-heavy projects, Salman never misses a chance to celebrate life’s simpler joys with his loved ones.

A recent instance of this was when he fondly recalled restoring his father Salim Khan’s first bike and teaching his nephews how to ride it at their farmhouse—a heartwarming reflection of his sentimental side.

Last year, Salman had taken to social media to share a nostalgic moment with a photo featuring a vintage Triumph Tiger 100 (1956) alongside his father. The caption read: “Dad's 1st bike, Triumph Tiger 100, 1956!” The superstar fondly remembered, “He bought this bike when he was 16 years old for 4800.” Though the bike had long since left their lives, it remained a topic of frequent conversation between Salim Khan and his son Sohail Khan. Eventually, Sohail tracked down the bike in a junkyard in Hyderabad.

“We got this bike from Hyderabad, sourced all the parts that were missing, and restored it for him,” Salman shared, visibly moved by the gesture and the memories it brought back.
