Sai Pallavi in Ramayana: Here's why she was chosen to play Goddess Sita

Mukesh Chhabra claims that Ranbir Kapoor was chosen because of his "serene presence, innocent charm, and ability to evoke deep emotion." The actor from Barfi! and Rockstar, who is renowned for his subtle performances, was thought to be the ideal choice to portray Lord Ram's serene, collected, and dharmic persona on screen.

According to reports, the producers were looking for someone who could portray deity and dignity without going overboard, and Ranbir met all of their requirements.

The team firmly believed that Pallavi stood out from more glitzy casting choices because of her off-screen persona and values, which complemented Sita's moral and spiritual aspects.

A strong ensemble also appears in the movie. Sunny Deol will play Lord Hanuman, and Yash, who is well-known from KGF, will play Ravana. Rakul Preet Singh plays Surpanakha, Vivek Oberoi plays Vidhyutjiva, Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman, Kajal Aggarwal plays Mandodari, and Lara Dutta plays Kaikeyi.
