Rupali Ganguly's stepdaughter, Esha levels fresh allegations against the actor: 'She slept on my mother’s bed'

Esha also revealed that she was just a child when her parents got divorced, and there was a lot of trauma that she had to deal with at quite a young age. "I feel like that was a lot of trauma I had to deal with and suffer with, and my mom did too. We suffered a lot, and we don’t have that exposure as she does."

Esha called Rupali-Kavya, a character from the hit show Anupamaa who destroys the marriage of Anupamaa and Vanraj. She said Rupali was the real Kavya in her parents' marriage.

"First things first, it’s both parties’ fault for an affair. But I will say if Rupali has claimed the woman that she is, the women’s advocate for women’s rights, an irony from her character in Anupamaa. She comes into our lives. She has made my father, like she told my father to give the divorce papers, and this happened twice to my mother. And my father would run off to India to be with her. And regardless of that, having an affair while being married is completely wrong," Esha said.

In her earlier post too, she had called Rupali 'controlling and psychotic'. "This is absolutely pathetic. Does anyone know the truth about Rupali Ganguly? She was involved with my father, Ashwin K. Verma, for twelve years while he was still married. She has tried to separate my sister and me from our father. He lived in California and New Jersey before moving to Mumbai, and despite her claims, they only have one son, not two. I'm speaking out because she portrays an image of a happy marriage, but in reality, she is controlling and psychotic toward my dad."

Rupali Ganguly hasn't made any comments, but Ashwin had written on X that his current wife has nothing to do with all this. The family had also stepped out in public on Tuesday.
