Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are continuing their box office success with the release of Singham Again. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Rohit revealed some exciting news: Golmaal 5 is officially happening and will be released before his upcoming cop action film.
Rohit Shetty shared that he plans to return to the light-hearted world of Golmaal before moving on to any more intense action films. He confirmed that Golmaal would be his next project, ahead of any upcoming cop-related films, a revelation that excited the audience.
In the same conversation with Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn also confirmed that sequels to De De Pyaar De, Son of Sardar, Dhamaal, and Golmaal are currently in development.
Rohit mentioned that switching between genres feels rejuvenating for him. He explained that working on a comedy like Golmaal after the intensity of Singham serves as a "detox." He added that he looks forward to creating Golmaal following a major project like Singham, as it is lighter and more cheerful, and there’s less stress involved.
Shetty and Ajay Devgn are currently reveling in the success of Singham Again, the latest action-packed installment in Shetty’s cop universe. During a conversation, they were asked about the difficulty of shifting from intense action to the comedic tone of Golmaal. Devgn shared that he finds the transition effortless, as he remains in character only between the words “action” and “cut.”
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty's latest film Singham Again features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jackie Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff. Drawing inspiration from the Hindu epic Ramayana, the film weaves parallels into its compelling storyline. It marks the fifth installment in Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe.
